Forget what you think you know about bellydance...
With the eclectic artistic core of a true Seattle creation, inFusion Tribal draws you in with the entrancing sights and sounds of the Middle East, injected with flavors of India, Spain, and North Africa. These six talented dancers share a passion for creating an unforgettable experience for all who have the chance to catch one of their one-of-a-kind performances.
Since 2001, the members of inFusion Tribal have been concocting a singular brew: a foundation of bellydance, add a blend of world dances, a pinch of sass, and a dash of groove. An "infusion" of world cultures nurtured here in the soils of Seattle, which is at the same time both exotic and yet somehow familiar. An expression of ancient dance with a modern twist.
Like any spontaneous mixture, it's never quite the same experience twice. You may be surprised to learn that inFusion Tribal's performances are primarily created in the moment through their signature improvisational style. Audiences find themselves taken on a journey, through the excitement of pulsing beats to soul-stirring deep grooves and back again.
Vaunted and Versatile
Co-directors Renee Drellishak and Sharon Moore collaborate with their tight-knit collective of talented performance artists to bring their unique brand of bellydance entertainment to the stage. Together they tap into a spirited form of expression they have come to be recognized for around the world. Able to adapt for large stages and small venues alike, the dancers of inFusion Tribal can bring their unique style of entertainment to your office party, home gathering, or intimate nightclub, just as expertly as they take to the stage at such events as the Northwest Folklife Festival, the BookIt Theater Dancers for Dancers Showcase, and the Cystic Fibrosis Annual Fundraising Gala.

inFusion Tribal is sought for their world-class performances, and challenging and fun workshops for dancers of all levels. They have been featured performers at many major dance and performance festivals around the United States, including Tribal Fest, Tribal Quest Northwest, and 3rd Coast Tribal. They have also been featured locally by KIRO 7 Morning News and KING 5. Director Sharon 'Shay' Moore was nominated as Zaghareet Magazine's Instructor of the Year in 2007, in recognition of her exceptional classes and workshops.
