About Renée Drellishak

Renée Drellishak began taking bellydance classes in 1994. After 7 years of cabaret classes, most of which were with Aleili, an original member of Yaleil, she began studying tribal style improvisation. She helped to form the troupe that has since become inFusion Tribal Bellydance, which she is co-directs with Sharon Moore.
Renée Drellishak is a Level II certified dancer in Suhaila Salimpour's format. She has been studying belly dance since 1994, and has been a student of Suhaila's since 2001. Renée is Co-director of inFusion Tribal Belly Dance, is a certified graduate of Gypsy Caravan's Teacher Training program for Beginning Level I and II, and has performed as a guest dancer with Suhaila Salimpour’s Bal Anat..
When she's not dancing, Renée is working on her dissertation for her doctorate in educational leadership and policy studies at the University of Washington. She is a yoga enthusiast and a huge fan of exercise videos.
